<p>With the new Rapid XT, Scarpa presents a lightweight approach shoe that is no longer as reminiscent of your running shoe as the normal Rapid in terms of design, appearance and weight, but rather your new approach favorite. <p>It is ideal for technical and demanding approaches as well as easy ridge scrambles. Thanks to the neat heel and scuff protection rubber, you also have protective functionality on the descent. The lacing is not quite as low as on the Mescalito or other Scarpa approach shoes, but still low enough for good precision. With its snug fit, comfortable padding on the tongue and shaft and cushioning midsole, it will take you through hours of routes.</p> <p>On the trail, the Vibram&reg; Megagrip outsole with climbing zone unfolds its full potential. <p>Weight: 660 g (pair, EU 38).</p>
