And if there are extreme conditions on your extreme trail runs where you need to use your semi-automatic combi crampons - no problem. <p>You simply slip the running shoe into the overshoe, adjust it and you're ready for the vertical section. Inside, a quick lacing system ensures the perfect fit. The gaiter closes securely with a diagonal zip and Velcro strap. This reliably keeps snow, moisture, mud and sludge out.</p <p>The contagrip® outsole of the X Alpine Modular 2 is stabilised and non-slip and is kitted out with a climbing zone for tackling steep rock.</p>
