Alpine hiking Around the Bernese Alps

<p>This guidebook describes a series of medium to challenging mountain hikes in the Bernese Alps. The core of this selection is a circumnavigation of the entire Bernese Alpine ridge in 24 daily stages from Gsteig via the Bernese Oberland to the Grimsel and further along the southern slope in the canton of Valais to the Sanetsch Pass. Additional descriptions of connecting stages, variants and tips on worthwhile summit destinations between the Bernese Oberland and Valais result in a selection of 43 different mountain hikes.
