The Rother hiking book "Erlebniswandern mit Kindern Schwarzwald Süd" takes hikers of all ages on rustic mountain trails, to imposing waterfalls, into mysterious moorland and through sun-drenched forests. All 40 hiking tours have been tested by children and promise exciting and intense nature experiences in the Southern Black Forest all year round.</span><br style="text-align: justify;"><br style="text-align: justify;"><span style="text-align: justify;">The popular vacation region around Freiburg im Breisgau offers families with children hikes of all levels of difficulty, from exciting adventure trails for the very youngest to easy high-altitude hikes and alpine-style routes for summiteers. Well-known hiking destinations such as the Feldberg, Lake Titisee, the Triberg waterfalls or the wild Ravenna Gorge are presented as well as the less well-known routes through the moors of the Hotzenwald or the lovingly created water trails in the Sulzbach Valley and near Unterkirnach. Furthermore, over 60 casual wear and bad weather tips whet the appetite for exploring the surrounding area away from the hiking routes.</span><br style="text-align: justify;"><br style="text-align: justify;"><span style="text-align: justify;">The tour selection is made easier by age recommendations, difficulty and time information for each hike. Precise route descriptions, elevation profiles, detailed hiking maps and GPS data to download make walking easy. Almost all starting points can be reached by public transport and some routes are suitable for baby carriages. Especially for children, there is interesting background information on animals and plants, natural phenomena and many other exciting topics for every hike.
