Description

As an outstanding member of the Eiger Extreme family, the award-winning Mammut Taiss Pro High GTX is a technical gaiter mountain boot that is just right for you as a sporty, ambitious alpinist if you are looking for a fast and uncompromisingly protective category-C boot that you can also use in winter for high-altitude tours and via Ferrata.

This modern mountain boot is durably waterproof and breathable thanks to the additional insulating Gore-Tex® Duratherm lining and impresses with an exceptionally low weight for its category and features. Nevertheless, extensive features such as compatibility with combi crampons and an integrated gaiter do not have to be dispensed with. This means it offers plenty of protection even in uncomfortable mountain weather but also allows plenty of mobility thanks to its good flexibility.

To optimally readjust at any time, Mammut relies on the externally accessible, very precise two-zone Boa® lacing, which is effective from the upper shaft section to the toe of the boot.

Very good wearing comfort is also promised by details such as the anatomically precise fit based on Georganic 3D Technology and the sole, which is not entirely stiffened but somewhat flexible in the ball area, with corresponding cushioning. Light, abrasion-resistant materials such as the schoeller® Soft Shell or the all-around scree protection ensure good robustness.

With its Vibram® Litebase tread outsole and stable-edge midsole construction, the Taiss Pro High GTX provides the best grip on rock, gravel and loose ground.
