UK 50-26 Upper Bavarian Forest Nature Park, West Bavarian Forest

<p>UK50-26 shows the western part of the Upper Bavarian Forest Nature Park. Adjacent to it are the district and the city of Regensburg. The southern part of the map shows part of the city of Straubing and the district of Straubing-Bogen. Cyclists can choose beautiful routes in the Upper Palatinate Lake District or in the valleys of the Regen and Laber rivers. The Roman Route Limes, the Danube Cycle Path or the Upper Palatinate Cycle World are suitable for longer tours. MTB riders will find great trails on the Trans Bayerwald Südroute, which winds through the entire Bavarian Forest. Long-distance hikers can explore the southern Upper Palatinate along the Goldsteig, Via Nova, Main-Danube Trail or Oberpfalzweg. The trails in the western part of the Upper Bavarian Forest Nature Park and in the districts of Regensburg and Schwandorf are ideal for day hikes. Highlights on this map include the Walhalla in Donaustauf and the Stone Bridge in Regensburg. The world's largest walk-in wooden adventure sphere in Steinberg am See can be seen from afar. There is plenty on offer for water sports enthusiasts in the Upper Palatinate Lake District: Swimming, boat trips, water skiing, sailing, surfing and diving.
