Anything else would only impair the downhill flow. The cycling shorts are robust thanks to the triple seams, material reinforcements and hard-wearing fabric. It is made from a mixture of nylon and functional fibres - which are comfortable to wear even when the trails get tricky. The two zips at the sides also guarantee fresh air for challenging downhills.</p><p>Hard to avoid on some days: Mud and water spray. Both simply roll off the Shelter 2l MTB cycling trousers thanks to the finish.</p>
