Varia™ Rear Road Bike Radar Light

<p>It can be quite tricky on the road with a road bike - the Varia&trade; RCT716 STVZO Radar from Garmin definitely gives you a big plus in terms of safety&mdash;this small device functions as a rear light.</p> <p>The Varia&trade; has a built-in camera that records in 1080p/720p quality at 30 FPS and transmits the images to your Garmin Edge bike computer or smartphone. You can choose whether the camera records continuously or in radar mode. In radar mode, the camera starts recording when a vehicle approaches within 140 metres. You have everything in full view thanks to a 220&deg; viewing angle.</p> <p>If something does go wrong, the camera has an integrated accelerometer to automatically save recordings when accidents are detected. No more hit-and-run. A 16 GB SD memory card is included. The battery lasts 5 hours in radar mode, long enough for extended training laps.</p> <p>The 5-lumen continuous light mode of the Varia&trade; RCT716 is German Road STVZO-approved and features no blinking light function. A mounting kit with compensators for round, aero, and D-shaped seat posts is included.</p>
